Such a sweetheart

Isn't she the sweetest thing ever! This is daddy's favorite part of the day - snuggling with his baby. It would be nice to have a picture of mommy with her, but that rarely happens. Maybe I could photoshop myself in there! Savannah has developed quite an attitude. She knows what she wants and shakes her head to anything else we present to her. When I try to get her out of the bathroom or anywhere else she shouldn't be, she starts whining and sits down. How did she learn that? It looks like her fourth molar is finally in for a total of twelve teeth which she loves to brush. I'm hoping she gets Jer's good teeth genes now that Uncle Don isn't practicing. I don't want to have to clean another dentists office!

I Love A Parade

We just returned from the St. George Parade of Homes and you can't believe how good Savannah was. Jer and I wish we could give her a fabulous playroom like the ones we saw there, but maybe we'll be able to afford it for her children instead! If you haven't been to a home show in St. George, you really need to go. It's kind of a let down when you get home, but you get some great ideas looking at the models.

Too Cute Topiary

How cute is this?!? I made this topiary with the girls last weekend. I keep it on my sofa table and love it more every time I look at it. I'm not sure where Sherie got the idea, but I'm glad she shared it with me.

We purchased the premade topiary, flower pot, sequin pins and "retro flower" Whale of a Punch at Joann's. After punching flowers from three coordinating, double-sided papers, I simply folded the petals up and secured them to the styrofoam with the pins in a random pattern. It took more paper and time to make than I thought it would, but it was super simple. I bought supplies yesterday to make Easter eggs using the same technique. I hope they'll be as darling as the topiary, but I'll let you know how they turn out.

Like mother, like daughter

It looks like Savannah is going to be a great mommy, just like me!! I had to share this picture of her "feeding" her bear tonight. I am amazed at how early she has learned to nurture dolls and stuffed animals. Do boys do this too?

While I'm here I might as well give you my two cents on tonights AI. I liked Ramielle the best, although I think Sayesha is really cute. My favorite guy is Michael Johns, but of course I'm rooting for David Archuleta since he is a hometown boy. I'm too cheap to text my vote, so Sherie send in a few for me!

Having fun with my new Cuttlebug

Thanks to my sister Sandy, I am now the happy owner of a Cuttlebug! I am having so much fun testing out the dies and can't wait to buy some more. Who knows, I may actually make something with them someday.
